Picture this: You are talking to someone you’ve just met, and they ask you about your business. Your elevator speech (you have one don’t you?) is so compelling, the other person says “tell me more”.
So you tell them more.
You are so passionate about your product or service that they whip out their wallet, hand you a credit card and tell you “I would like to buy from you right now”.
Woo hoo! But wait, how can you process their credit card? You aren’t in your office or at your store. No cash register. No computer. No credit card machine. All you have in the room is you… and your mobile phone.
The above scenario actually happened to me just last week. And it could happen to you. Watch the video below to see how to solve this dilemma…
(This is the tip I shared this week on the Midweek Momentum webinar)

I have square on my ipod touch. It only works if I am speaking where there is wi-fi available. Being a Blackberry user, I also got gopayment for my phone. I checked which models it works on, got it all set up and then discovered that, while it does work with a BB Curve, it does not work on my particular model of BB Curve! They also noted that they will not be doing any more development of their system for Blackberries. So I can key in purchases, but will have to switch to a droid or iphone if I want to have consistent availability with a swipe. I will say that being able to take a credit card payment wherever I am has resulted in sales that would have been lost otherwise. Glad you are letting people know about this important business option. Thanks.
