In the mad rush of interest over the new Google+ service that launched this week, many businesses have already set up accounts on it. If yours was one of them, you will probably be asked be asked by Google to take it down.
In this post on the Google+ blog, Christian Oestlien stated “…we are discouraging businesses from using regular profiles to connect with Google+ users. Our policy team will actively work with profile owners to shut down non-user profiles”
So for now, go ahead and start using Google+ to build your personal brand, but don’t get your company signed up yet.
